Match money to records
Business and up

What the business owes its own people

When a bill says it has already been paid — a PAID stamp, a card slip, a zero balance — invoiso asks who paid it. Anything somebody paid for out of their own pocket is money the business owes them: totalled per person on their contact card and in a report, listed on the expenses that are waiting, and cleared when you record paying them back. No bank statement will ever show this debt, which is why it has to be kept somewhere.

A contact in invoiso showing what they paid for personally, what has been paid back and what is still owed.
See what a colleague is owed for bills they paid themselves, and record paying them back.

From bank line to settled balance

Match the movement. Keep the evidence.

A receipt or payment makes sense only beside the invoice, bill or credit note it settles. Keeping both sides attached makes every balance and ageing figure explainable.

How does this feature work?

Anything somebody paid for out of their own pocket is money the business owes them: totalled per person on their contact card and in a report, listed on the expenses that are waiting, and cleared when you record paying them back. Which plan includes this feature?

Business and up. The pricing page shows the current plan boundary and any usage allowances.

Can I use the invoiso assistant with this workflow?

Yes. The in-app assistant can work with the records available to your plan and previews changes before applying them. For example: “Who is owed money for bills they paid themselves?”.
